Just when you thought music festivals peaked in the summer, Founders Entertainment just dropped news regarding their newest project, The Meadows Music and Arts Festival. Founders Entertainment are the geniuses behind Governor’s Ball and are showing a promising and enticing lineup for the Festival’s breakout first year. The Meadows Festival is set to be held in Queens, New York City on October 1st and 2nd.
The Meadows headliners include Kanye West (who is making a comeback in NYC after his Governor’s Ball set was canceled), The Weeknd, Chance the Rapper, Kygo, and also feature performances by Grimes, Empire of the Sun, The 1975, Mac Miller, Cage the Elephant, Damian “Jr. Gong” Marley, Zhu and more. The Festival is shaping up to be a music lovers paradise. Aside from seller performers, The Meadows is also promising a cultural variety of vendor foods.
The Meadows passes go on sale Wednesday, June 22nd for those who have previously purchased a Governor’s Ball pass and then are opened for purchase from the general public on Thursday, June 23rd. General admission passes start at $230, with VIP at $495 and Super VIP at a whopping $1600.
