Dillon Francis Connects with NGHTMRE for Moombahton Banger “Need You”

Let’s be honest, everyone loves a new track from Dillon Francis. But when we heard that budding trap producer NGHTMRE would be collaborating with Dillon on a brand new track, our expectations soared through the roof.

Both of these musicians have ventured into creating genre-spanning tunes that have proved their skill and stylistic diversification. So, until previews started to surfaced this song could have been anything from trap to electro-house to dubstep.

Now that “Need You” is finally out and open to stream on all outlets, we’ve discovered that NGHTMRE hopped on Dillon’s forte genre of moombahton. This song takes on a ton of influence from Francis, but NGHTMRE’s contribution to the collaboration goes far from unnoticed. Between the open spaces of the reggaeton chord progression in the drop, NGHTMRE adds in unique sounds. Also the production sounds much cleaner than a Dillon Francis original, which we can definitely attribute to the up and coming Mad Decent rep. Listen below.

Now you can watch the music video for “Need You”, which features Darren, I mean DJ Dillon Francis, turning a middle-age barbecue into straight mayhem.
